San Antonio Driveway Repair Cost Estimator

Get a planning budget for concrete driveway crack filling, resurfacing, leveling, panel replacement or spall patching in San Antonio. A guide, not a quote.

This estimator is a planning reference, not a quote. It gives a typical national range for two concrete repairs whose published figures agree: slab lifting with mudjacking and patching a spalled surface, both priced per square foot. For the other concrete repairs it lists, it explains what sets the price instead of showing a number, and it does not guess at prices for asphalt paving, gravel conversion or commercial parking lots. Actual costs depend on repair method, damaged area, preparation, material, drainage, access and permits.

Choose the kind of work

Slab lifting with mudjacking uses a typical national range of $3 to $6 per square foot lifted. Enter the measured area of the slab being raised, and the tool multiplies that area by the range. It applies to cement-slurry lifting of an intact slab only.

Spalled surface patching uses a typical national range of $3 to $4 per square foot of damaged surface. Enter the measured area of the damaged concrete. A very small patch may still carry a minimum charge for the visit.

Polyurethane foam lifting, crack filling, bonded overlay and partial panel replacement show cost drivers only, because published figures for that work vary too widely to give a dependable range:

  • Foam lifting follows the slab area lifted, how far it has to rise, how much void sits underneath and how many injection points the slab needs.
  • Crack filling follows the total crack length, crack width and depth, how much routing and cleaning each crack needs, and the minimum charge for a visit.
  • A bonded overlay follows the area, how much surface preparation the old concrete needs, crack and joint treatment, and the finish chosen.
  • Partial panel replacement follows how many panels come out, slab thickness, base repair under them, reinforcement, disposal and matching the edges to the old concrete.

The two national ranges are square-foot figures for different jobs, so a lifting result and a patching result cannot be added together as if they described one repair.

Important scope restrictions

Area-based guidance assumes the described scope is appropriate. If the concrete is fractured, the base is eroded or water collects at a garage, surface treatment may not be the right work. A broken slab is not a lifting candidate, and a patch over delaminated concrete has little to bond to. A larger repair may involve additional removal, grading, drainage and other materials that the typical range does not include.

Methodology

The tool is a budgeting aid built on the two typical national ranges above. They are national figures, not San Antonio rates and not Elm prices. It does not infer a labor rate from BLS wage data, invent a quantity or decide which permit applies to a street-side approach. For the difference between a typical range and a job quote, read the San Antonio driveway repair cost guide.

Concrete repair budgeting calculator

Choose the work and enter the measured area. Two scopes have a dependable typical national range; for the others the calculator explains what sets the price instead of inventing one. This is not a contractor quote, and no asphalt or commercial prices are assumed.

Enter a measured area to see a budgeting range.

Ranges are typical national figures for the defined work only. They exclude demolition beyond the repair, drainage, permits, unusual access, unsuitable base and additional repairs found on site.
